PT5A Linear Position Transducer - Overview
The PT5A Linear Position Transducer is used in conjunction with the BMS software and can be combined with both the 400 Series Force Plate and the FT700 Power Cage.
The PT5A Linear Position Transducer (LPT) is an affordable entry point into the Fitness Technology range of equipment that operates with the Ballistic Measurement System Software (BMS).
The PT5A LPT and XPV6+ Interface combined with the BMS software accurately measures the vertical movement of the athlete, barbells, or weight machines. Velocity, acceleration, force and power can then be calculated. The program can also analyze the data collected to display peak force, power, and velocity, jump height, and rate of force development.
